I am a proud owner of a Canon 24-70mm f2.8 L lens. This is considered a must for anyone who is shooting in low light conditions and needs a sharp robust lens for day to day use. After hiring the lens from lenses for hire and using it for a recent wedding shoot it was clear this was the lens for me. Hiring a lens for every shoot seemed like it was going to work out expensive and after much thought and deliberation I decided it would be wise to invest for the long term. I would recommend hiring to start off with before buying to anyone who is going to make this sort of investment.
So, I have an L lens which I am itching to use in my next shoot. I will update you all as to how I am getting on with it over the next few posts.
My expectation is that this will be a solid lens, delivering sharp images and being versatile enough to use in all events.
